
Michael Hill Jewellers wanted a campaign to celebrate 40 years of sparkle. So, for their monthly retail push, we took a deep dive, into the dazzling macro world of jewellery photography.
We even used some of Sir Michael Hill’s original sketches (and snuck in a few of mine—shhh!) as props. The result? Three crafted 15-second retail TVCs and social videos, each reflecting a key buying moment: gifting, self-gifting, and bridal. Because whether you’re saying I do, I love you, or I totally deserve this—Michael Hill has the perfect piece.

Behind the scenes, we built a tiny universe - literally. Our props ranged from a whopping 10cm to as tiny as 3cm. Director Max Miller and the wizards at Yell Designs turned a humble 3ft x 3ft table into a full-blown macro world, proving that ideas come in all sizes.
