As restrictions eased Department of Transport wanted to ‘Welcome Back’ Victorians to public transport with key initiatives like timetable changes, a new app and cashless ticketing. A warm, helpful and a friendly campaign reminded Melbournians that PTV is an intrinsic part of their lives and catching public transport once again is a sign of returning to normalcy.

Welcoming Victorians back after Covid

Working with Dirty Puppet we created a simplified and a stylised version of Melbourne city. With reduced colour palette, the details are just enough to recognise certain Melbourne landmarks and stations. Coupled with vibrant energetic light trails of the network and addition of people, we achieved an uplifting and reassuring campaign reflecting a city coming back to life.
